Finnair
Finnair is the largest airline in the country of Finland, and it is the airline that officially displays the Finnish flag. Founded in 1923, Finnair has a fleet of fifty planes headed to over sixty destinations around the world. Whether you are looking for an affordable airline carrier or a safe, dependable carrier that you can trust, look to Finnair. Finnair has not even had a single accident since 1963, when a DC-3 plane went down with a little over 20 passengers and the flight crew. The accident had nothing to do with Finnair engines or Finnair cargo, but it was due to faulty equipment, an altitude meter to be exact, but Finnair has taken precautions to make sure that incidents like that do not happen any more. Since then, the issue of corporate social responsibility at Finnair has been addressed. Finnair livery is fairly easy to pick out on the runway, but it does not make a big splash as far as originality goes. The body of the plane is usually painted in white with blue trim and a blue tail fin, with the word FINNAIR painted in large letters across the side.
If you want to check out the Finnair web site, you can do so at www.Finnair.com. There you should be able to make reservations, check flight schedules, and bring yourself up to speed on aviation laws and practices.
Finnair Airlines does fly to Hong Kong, as well as many other destinations all throughout North America and Asia, and some European countries. You can also find out information on the Finnair stadion and the issue of the Finnair strike. Finnair is one of the safest airline carriers in the world. Not having a fatal accident in over 40 years speaks for itself, although the country of Finland has had relatively safe air travel for a while now. The worst fatal air travel accident only killed 25 people, which says a lot considering the fact that most jet planes can carry about one hundred passengers and their cargo. If you are looking for a new way to travel, go Finnair.
